Locally Produced Scheme
The Locally Produced Scheme aims to encourage local accommodation suppliers, local people and visitors to purchase locally produced products; and offer business support to Scheme members through marketing, training and networking events and our annual Trade Fair.
Why not join the scheme and boost your sales by using the Hadrian’s Wall Country Locally Produced brand?
With the new Locally Produced brand identity and all new marketing materials, your products are likely to see a higher profile than ever before. Our aim is to ensure your quality products stand out above any other within the busy retail environment, by providing striking, professionally designed point of sale material, encouraging local customers to support their economy and those from out of the region to take a memento with them.

The Scheme was re-launched with new branding and a new range of Point of Sale Material at our very successful Trade Fair in March this year and generated a lot of excellent publicity and news coverage for local producers. The new brand is part of a family of brands under ‘Hadrian’s Wall Country’ which are all linked and recognisable, promoting the Hadrian’s Wall Bus, Train Line, Locally Produced, Cycling and Walking (National Trail).
Hadrian’s Wall Country Locally Produced branding may be used on products from producers who are based within 10 miles of Hadrian’s Wall. Producers from within 50 miles of Hadrian’s Wall will be eligible to use the branding on products that have a Roman or Hadrianic theme. Hadrian’s Wall Country Locally Produced branding can only be used by producers and retailers who have signed up to participate in the scheme.
