How to use the Site Search Facility

To search the website you can use the search facility that is situated in the top left hand corner of every page. Enter the word or phrase that you are looking for and click the arrow or hit Return. You will then be displayed with a table of all returned items. By clicking on the various tabs, you can see the different items in the different categories. This maybe web pages, downloads or links.

 

Increase Text Size

If you find that you need to change the text size, you can increase and decrease the text size, using the 3 x A buttons just below the main navigation.

 

Sign Language

A sign language video for the website can be found on the top navigation of the screen, titled “BSL”. This provides a seven minute video of information about Hadrian’s Wall.

 

Print Page

You can print each of the pages on the website by clicking the print icon which can be found at the bottom left of every page.

 

What browser do I require to use this website?

We recommend the use of Internet Explorer with a resolution of 1024 x 768 for optimum viewing and usability. However, the site has been developed with other browsers in mind, such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari.
