Visitor Facilities, Presentation and Tourism
The Visitor Facilities, Presentation and Tourism Action Plan summarises current partnership activity and activity planned for 2010 primarily in relation to the following Issues identified in the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site Management Plan.
Issue 11: Developing the visitor experience and understanding of the World Heritage Site and Buffer Zone
Issue 12: Sustainable development and economic regeneration.
Issue 14: Marketing the WHS
Current and future activities in respect of some aspects of other Management Plan Issues which concern Visitor Facilities, Presentation and Tourism are also included in this Plan. These include:

Issue 6: Risk preparedness and disaster management
Issue 10: Sustainable physical access
Issue 13: Engaging with communities
The Action Plan seeks to identify which activities can and should be taken forward over the course of 2010 and also identifies the main organisations and interests who will be involved in determining and implementing the detailed actions to be undertaken
