The first draft of the Planning and Protection 2010 Action Plan can be viewed below and comments on this draft are requested to be made by Friday 15th January 2010 to managementplan@hadrianswallheritage.co.uk

Each of the Action Plans is presented in a standardised format which sets out those Policies and Actions from the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site Management Plan attributed to each Plan.  The draft then provides a brief summary of the current status of activity related to each Policy and Action together with an outline of the key tasks required to take forward their implementation.  The draft then identifies the main bodies or interests which will be primarily involved in taking forward those tasks.

In this draft of the Planning and Protection Action Plan a colour coding system has been used to indicate which Policies and Actions require coordinated action between partners in the short, medium or longer term, and this will be used to identify a programme of actions which will form the basis of the 2010 Action Plan.
