Why can’t I right click on the page?

To protect the imagery used on the website, the right click functionality has been disabled. If you wish to use any of the imagery shown, please contact Hadrian’s Wall Tourism Partnership to find the copyright owner.

How to use the Search Facility

To search the website you can use the search facility that is situated in the top right hand corner of every page. Enter the word or phrase that you are looking for and click "SEARCH". You will then be displayed with a table of all returned items. By clicking on the various tabs, you can see the different items in the different categories. This maybe web pages, downloads or links.

Increase Text Size

If you find that you need t change the text size, you can increase and decrease the text size, using the 3 x A buttons just below the main navigation.

Language Translation

The website is available in three different languages. These are English, French and German. At any time, you may click the appropriate flag, found in the navigation on the bottom left hand side of the screen and the text will be translated into the appropriate language.

Sign Language

A sign language video for the website can be found on the left hand side navigation of the screen, titled “BSL”. This provides a seven minute video of information about Hadrian’s Wall.

Feedback on the Website

If you wish to provide feedback on Hadrian’s Wall Country Website, you can do so by clicking the “Feedback” link at the bottom of the screen. From here, enter the appropriate details and submit your feedback.

Print Page

You can print each of the pages on the website by clicking the print icon which can be found at the top right hand corner of the main content.

What browser do I require to use this website?

We recommend the use of Internet Explorer with a resolution of 1024 x 768 for optimum viewing and usability. However, the site has been developed with other browsers in mind, such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari.
