How to use the Accommodation Search

• Enter a location name in the white box (Hexham), a postcode (eg CA8 7DD is the postcode for Birdoswald Roman Fort), the name of the property you are looking for (eg Hexham Hotel) or specific words in the property name (eg Hexham). Then either click on the Search button or press the Return key to see all Accommodation Types corresponding to that location or name.


• Properties corresponding to the location search will be displayed as the default; if you want to see results corresponding to the name search you need to click on the arrows on the orange box until you see the words Accommodation by Name. Please note that the results are displayed in increasing order of distance from the chosen location.


• Choosing an Accommodation Type
  This can help narrow your search. Either before or after clicking on the Search button, select the Accommodation Type you are interested in from the drop-down menu. Please note that all Accommodation Types are ticked as the default. If you only want to search for specific Accommodation Types, simply untick the corresponding categories. Then click on the Show button on the drop-down menu.
